Stay relaxed, calm and recognizing feelings of anxiety takes practice. Breathing exercises, positive thinking, and taking breaks are three ways that help minimize the feeling of anxiety. It is important to remember that everyone has different strategies that work for them. 

Breathing to Relax

When feeling anxiety, pause what you are doing, and take a few deep slow breaths. 

Think Positive

Changing thoughts to be positive can help change your outlook on math and prevent math anxiety.

Take a Break

If you are feeling math anxiety, stop and do something else for a few minutes.
